Avalanche Haute Tarentaise, secteur Val d'Isère, Ouille du Cugnaï / Col de la calabourdane

Large plaque came away from the top of the gully as the first skier dropped in. Plaque was approximately 0.5m in height at the top of the gully and exposed bare rock/grass underneath. The rest of the gully entrance (skiers right) has a crack running through part of it but did not detach.
